Hey. First post. Saw superman returns yesterday and it was awesome! It was such a throwback to the richard donner movies which I loved as a kid. The use of the john williams score was genius, kudos to bryan singer for making a brilliant brilliant film.
I admit, I had doubts about brandon routh playing supes but the movie proved me wrong. Turns out he was perfect for the part, and he even sounded like christopher reeves. Still didn't like the costume though, the s shield should be bigger and they made the overall colors darker than it should be. And I've read critics say that kevin spacey was a little over the top, but I disagree. I thought he was a perfect lex luthor.
I suggest you go out and see it now. I wanted to see it at the imax theater but I'm broke so I settled for theater number 2 at everybody's favorite supermall, festival. Even though I enjoyed the movie there was this one guy that completely annoyed me throughout the film. I called him kamot guy. Kamot kse ng kamot, dko alam kung me allergy basta kamot lng ng kamot. Tapos buong katawan pa nya ung kinakamot nya. Mula ulo hanggang paa. And he was just one seat from me. I was so sure that he was there not to see the movie but for the sole purpose of annoying me. He was at that time my arch villain, my lex luthor. If I wasn't so engrossed watching the movie I would've dropkicked him out of the theater. But yeah, make sure you see it as soon as you can and don't let any lex luthors spoil it for you. |
